process. |
Wintersteiger MicroJet Pro
| |
The best grinding in the business.
Can tune all types of skis and snowboards and produces
diamond in 3 depth stages
The first machine worldwide that can Ceramic Disc Finish
both side and bottom edges in "pairs" for skis as well as on
a single snowboard.
The integrated ski and snowboard measuring unit
automatically recognizes the equipment - guaranteeing very
little operator error.
The revolutionary Ceramic Disc Finish guarantees a
precise edge geometry, exact grinding angles and an
absolutely smooth edge surface over the total ski and
snowboard length.
All relevant angle combinations can be set for the skier and
boarder. Grinding with the self-sharpening Ceramic Discs
gives skis and snowboards increased turning power. This
means optimum skiing fun and precise carving control on hard
and icy slopes. Additionally the edge sharpness even lasts
longer.
|
Wintersteiger TrimJet
 |
Automatic edge grinding machine for skis and snowboards,
equipped with disc technology from the ski industry. The fast, innovative feed system makes the use of binding
bridges unnecessary and ensures high throughputs and easy
handling. Grinding in both directions provides the ability
to carry out any number of side and base edge angles in one
pass. This saves a huge amount of time and increases
performance!
Precise Finish.
The WINTERSTEIGER Ceramic Disc Finish technology with
self-sharpening grinding discs ensures precise edge geometry
and a polished edge surface.

Wintersteiger Handheld Extruder
 |
Handheld P-Tex extruding gun
Heating element covers half of a ski width
Used primarily for base repair on telemark skis, snowboards,
or any ski that cannot be run through our Skid automatic P-Tex
machine
|
SKID Laser 30
 |
Automatic feed P-Tex machine
Extrudes new P-Tex material to the entire base of the ski
Fully adjustable for different ski widths and tip shapes
Temperature adjustable for different types of P-Tex
Insures quality base repair on every tune
|
Wintersteiger snb 80
 |
Fully computerized belt grinder
Infinitely adjustable pressure and feed speed
Edge belt for precision edge bevel
Can be used with two belts for tuning skis: one belt for
removing excess P-Tex and one belt to put an edge base bevel
on the ski. The degree of the bevel is based on feed wheel
speed and feed wheel pressure.
Can also be used with one larger belt for tuning snowboards.
When configured for snowboards, this machine is used in conjunction
with our micro 71. The snb 80 is used for removing P-Tex,
and the micro 71 is used for the edge base bevel.

Wintersteiger micro 71

|
Fully computerized stone and belt grinder
Infinitely adjustable stone structure with high quality
diamond cutting tool
Stone can be configured to tune snowboards or skis, and can
also be configured to have different structures on different
halves of the stone. This allows one side to be used to remove
material on base high skis, while the other side can be used
to put a finish structure into the base of the ski.
Feed wheel is in three segments which enables more pressure
to be applied to different areas of a snowboard. This is mainly
used to create a base edge bevel on snowboards
Four different structure patterns possible on the stone:
- Cross pattern- most commonly used structure. With this
structure, the water crystals are directed to the sides
and tail of ski evenly so that there is no specific left
or right ski
- Cross pattern tilted left or right- same as above but
the pattern is tilted so that water is directed to one side.
This is often used when racing to create a specific left
and right ski
- Linear pattern- used in a downhill application, where
the ski is primarily going straight down the hill

What is a tune without wax?
 |
All tunes include a hot wax on our Fontaine Tech Belt Waxer.
This machine uses electronic temperature control and a heated
belt to buff a quality wax into the base of your skis. |
| For an additional $5.00, choose our
Toko MF 2000 wax system. A step above the belt waxer, this machine
utilizes motorized irons to saturate your bases with wax. Your
skis will then be hand scraped and brushed. |
|
|
If that is not enough for you, leave your skis overnight
in our custom Heat Box. Just $15.00, this includes four layers
of hot wax and an overnight stay in our temperature regulated
box, which allows the wax to penetrate deep into your bases.
Your skis are then hand scraped and brushed to give you the
smoothest and fastest bases out there.
